| The largemouth will be settling in the deeper, cooler water during the day and will be located on main lake and secondary points. Early in the morning, they can be caught in the backs of cuts close to the deep water. The stripers will be chasing schools of newly hatched shad and can be found on the surface throughout the lake. This can be truly some of the best topwater fishing you might ever see. The weather is hot, but so is the fishing. Plan to start early to avoid the heat. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
